Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Antonio Furleo Semeraro, operating Bubl ("Bubl," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of the Bubl mobile application and the website at askbubl.com(together, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Services. By using the Services you confirm that you meet this requirement, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will keep it up to date. One person may hold one account.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe create risk or legal exposure.

3. The service

Bubl is a news discovery and social reading app. It shows short, AI‑generated summaries of news from third‑party publishers and links to the original articles. Bubl is not the publisher of that journalism and does not republish full articles. Features may change, and we may add or remove functionality over time.

4. Acceptable use and your content

You retain ownership of the content you post (comments, pod messages, direct messages, shares, and reports). You grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, store, display, and moderate that content for the purpose of operating the Services.

You agree not to post or do anything that:

• is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, or defamatory;
• sexually exploits or endangers minors, in any form;
• infringes intellectual property or posts full copyrighted articles;
• impersonates others, spams, or distributes malware;
• attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Services.

We use automated moderation and may remove content or suspend accounts, with or without notice. Use the in‑app Report and Block tools if another user bothers you. We aim to review reports promptly.

5. AI features (Ask Bubl and summaries)

Ask Bubl is an automated assistant, not a human, and is grounded in story sources we provide. Its answers and our AI‑generated summaries may be wrong or incomplete and are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Usage limits apply (for example a daily cap on Ask Bubl questions per story). You may not attempt to bypass safety controls, generate harmful content, or misuse the AI features.

6. Intellectual property

Bubl owns the application, brand, and interface. News content, trademarks, and full articles belong to their respective publishers and owners; we link to them and show transformative summaries. If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, contact us at pulsenewslive@gmail.com with the URL, a description of the work, and a good‑faith statement, and we will respond appropriately.

7. Pods and messaging

Content you post in a pod is visible to its members, and direct messages are visible to the participants. Do not use messaging to spam or to solicit commercially. You can block users to stop receiving their messages and seeing their content.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that news summaries or AI output are accurate or complete, and we are not responsible for third‑party publisher content. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or 100 USD. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims and costs arising out of your content or your misuse of the Services, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules, and subject to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

13. Apple App Store terms

If you use the iOS app, you acknowledge that:

• these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content;
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app;
• Apple is not responsible for any product or intellectual‑property claims relating to the app;
• you must comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and applicable usage rules; and
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third‑party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will update the date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the App or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
